Animal Kingdom is the largest (by area) of all of the Disney Theme Parks. You can only access Animal Kingdom by bus or car. The park is diveded up into different themed areas - Pandora, Africa, Asia, Discovery Island and DinoLAnd USA. There are less rides at Animal Kingdom, but the Safari, Pandora - The World of Avatar and Conservation Station make up for this. The park has conservation at its heart.

Rides at Animal Kingdom

Animal Kingdom is more animal centric, but does still have a couple of thrill rides. you can take flight on a Banshee in a 3D simulator, take a trip back to pre-historic times in a time rover or take a trek up Everest to meet the Yeti. You can go on safari and see animal up close, with giraffes, lions and much more. A trip to Conservation Station is a must. Here you will find a petting zoo and learn about animal welfare.

Dining at Animal Kingdom

Sit down restaurants are more limited in Animal Kingdom however Tiffins is one of the best restaurants on Disney Property. If you want a different quick service meal try Satu'li Canteen where you can buy Ocean Moon Bowl containing blue noodles and pop to Pongo Pongu for a Night Blossom (pictured), with or without rum, and Pongu Lumpia, pineapple cream cheese spring rolls!
